Karin Walker

I have practised solely as a family lawyer since 1988, as a mediator since 1987 and as a collaborative lawyer since 2004.  I qualified as an arbitrator (finance) in 2012 and then undertook the additional training to conduct arbitration in children proceedings in 2016.

Having previously been a partner in a large Surrey firm, I set up KGW Family Law in 2012.  My objective throughout my time in legal practice has been to assist separating couples resolve their disputes through constructive communication.  If it is not possible for issues to be resolved by agreement then a clear and decisive adjudication based on thorough consideration of the facts and evidence becomes the best possible means of allowing the couple to move forwards with the rest of their lives, continuing to focus on their obligations as parents in the event that they have dependent children.
