Emily Watson
I am an Executive Partner at specialist family law firm Rayden Solicitors, and I qualified as a Children Arbitrator in 2018. Since then, I have conducted Children Arbitrations both in a “hearing” style format and on a paper basis. I am also a Resolution accredited specialist in Children Law (private) and Complex Financial Remedies.
As a family law solicitor I have extensive experience across all areas of family law and in particular have significant experience of disputes concerning children, with a specific expertise in contested Child Arrangements Orders and a strong track record in external relocation (leave to remove) cases.
I am very aware of the significant emotional stress that my clients face, particularly in children matters, so I am very proud to be recognised by my professional peers and clients for my calm but thorough manner in handling cases.
I have practised family law exclusively since qualifying in 2002. After training and working in London firms for 12 years I joined Rayden Solicitors in 2012 and am now based at our Berkhamsted office. However, I am also able to arbitrate at a number of Rayden Solicitors’ other offices, or in counsels’ chambers or meeting rooms agreed by the parties, whether in London or elsewhere across the country. Alternatively I am happy to conduct meetings virtually on whatever platform is preferred by the parties.
